Kanye West has been slammed for dressing Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4, in “cultic” and “creepy” outfits for the LA service

KANYE West has faced criticism for dressing his children in what appear to be cult-like outfits for his Sunday service.
The rapper’s daughter Chicago, five, and his son Psalm, four, were spotted in billowing white robes with face masks as they led the community in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Kanye, 45, founded the American gospel group Sunday Service in 2019 and often takes his children to the weekly ceremonies.
Chicago wore a white t-shirt and pants with a baggy white cape over it.
She was seen going to church with choir members who wore the same robes, in addition to wearing white hats to cover their heads and faces.
Psalm, too, arrived at the church in a white t-shirt, pants and Yeezy sneakers.

They were joined by Kanye, who wore a black padded “police” t-shirt and leggings with built-in sock shoes.
His wife, Bianca Censori, was by his side, wearing a black gauze outfit that covered her entire face and body.
Critics were shocked by the children’s outfits as they set out for the Gospel, calling them “creepy” and “iconic.”
One wrote on Reddit: “This is getting out of control. And their poor children are being forced to volunteer?! If that’s not a cult, I don’t know what is.”
Another added, “You certainly don’t even need to know what a maid is to see the oddity here!”
The user compared the outfits to those worn by female characters in the dystopian novel and TV series The Handmaid’s Tale.
A third commented: “It’s so scary!”
Kanye has four children with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian: North, Nine, Saint, Seven, Chicago and Psalm.
They finalized their divorce late last year after she filed for separation in February 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage.
Kanye secretly married Yeezy designer Bianca just two months after their final divorce.
Earlier this week, the US Sun exclusively revealed that Bianca struggles with being in the spotlight.
While Kanye loves to be the center of attention, an insider tells The US Sun, Bianca, 28, doesn’t just care about that and prefers to plan her next moves behind the scenes.
The source said it was the hitmaker who wrapped her head-to-toe in black gauze for his weekend Sunday service and she’s happy to go along with whatever he wants but doesn’t always like the limelight.
“Bianca doesn’t hang out too much with her own audience, she’s all about Kanye and is with him 24/7 most of the time, but dating Kanye can really be a full-time job,” the insider said.
“She loves fashion and art and dressing up, but she’s not really into fame, she’s a lot more reserved than Ye’s other ex-boyfriends.”
“She struggles with the presence of the paparazzi at times and doesn’t want to post or give interviews.
“Bianca has known Ye for a long time, she has a lot of patience, she knows how to deal with him and is happy that he is on the front line.”
Meanwhile, Kanye is gearing up for his big return to fashion after being canceled last year over anti-Semitic remarks, which resulted in his being banned from several big names.
The US Sun announced that the star has hired American Apparel’s Jewish founder, Dov Charney, as Yeezy’s new CEO after years of making friends and working on other projects.
Dov is no stranger to being “cancelled,” as the Canadian entrepreneur and apparel maker was fired by American Apparel’s board of directors in 2014.
He was charged with a number of alleged misconduct, including misappropriating company funds, violating the company’s sexual harassment policy and offering significant severance packages without board approval.
“I want everyone to know that I’m not ‘the Sleaze King,'” he later said in an exclusive interview with ABC News. “’The Sleaze King’ is a different guy.

“All these allegations against me are rubbish. There are allegations… we have cleared them up. None of this — none of these allegations — has ever been proven,” he said, explaining that some lawsuits have been settled while others have been dismissed.
Despite his past, a source close to The US Sun said: “It’s definitely a risky move given the allegations against him, but Ye supports him and knows what it’s like to be cancelled.”
