Kamaru Usman’s manager calls Canelo Alvarez a ‘BONUS’ and predicts the UFC champion will KO the boxing star in three rounds

KAMARU USMAN’s manager called Canelo Alvarez a ‘BONUS’ and said the UFC champion would knock the boxer down in three rounds.

Usman has long called out the Mexican boxing superstar, who is the current best in the sport.

But Ali Abdelaziz, the UFC welterweight champion, criticized Canelo for refusing to fight in the cage.

Abdelaziz told MMA Junkie: “I know he doesn’t want to fight Jake Paul; he doesn’t want to fight Logan Paul.

“He said I was the weight king in MMA, I wanted to fight cowards in boxing because I thought all these fighters were cowards because none of them wanted to come to MMA.

“Everybody wants to get into boxing, but at the end of the day, in a street fight, who is the ugliest man on the planet?

“They can’t say Canelo is the worst man on the planet.

“They can’t rate Canelo as the best boxer in the group because if they’re both on the street, who wins?

“Kamaru will spank his ass like he stole something.”

UFC fighters are prohibited from competing outside of the promotion unless specifically exempted.

In 2017, Conor McGregor, 33, was allowed to fight boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, 45, but lost in ten rounds.

Usman, 34, also had a similar match against Canelo, 31, despite the odds against him.

But Abdelaziz, who also manages UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov, 33, backed his men to cause all the mess – in a snap.

He said, “Kamaru will knock him out in three rounds. You can’t say no to Kamaru.

“He’s a guy from Africa. He’s overcome a lot of obstacles. I believe in Kamaru. This is the difference between me and others.

“I believe in him, I live with him, I breathe with him, I die with him, I fight with him. He is a special person in my life.

“How many street fights Kamaru and I have been in? We had a lot of street fights, and I had to believe in him.

“I believe Kamaru can defeat any man alive.”
