Juventus ‘EYE’ Gabriel Magalhaes, Arsenal ‘make’ £47m offer from Milinkovic-Savic, Martinez LATEST – broadcast news LIVE

Good morning Arsenal fans

Gabriel Jesus’ move to Arsenal was finally announced by the club, who made it official.

A fee of £45million has been agreed between the Gunners and Premier League rivals Manchester City.

Jesus has signed a five-year deal with the north Londoners and will join former manager Mikel Arteta’s squad for pre-season.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are confident of beating Arsenal to sign Lisandro Martinez following a meeting with Ajax club bosses.

United have reportedly offered Martinez a fee of just under £40m.

The Dutch champions’ new director of football Klaas-Jan Huntelaar traveled to London to meet with United officials, according to the Mirror on Saturday.

And after talks with Huntelaar, the Red Devils are said to be confident of beating the Gunners in the race for the highly-rated centre-back’s signing.

The Manchester giants are said to have made an initial offer worth £35.3m, with a further £4.3m available in add-ons.

The total package is valued at £39.6m with Ajax reportedly valuing the Argentina international at £43m.

Martinez would rather join former manager Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford than join the Gunners.

According to The Athletic, United have “emerged as favorites” to sign the 24-year-old for around £35million.

Finally, Arsenal have made an offer for Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Milinkovic-Savic has emerged as a target for Arteta, who wants a new No.8 this summer.

The Serie A club are ready to sell the midfielder in the summer transfer window.

Still, they want a £60m fee and the Gunners have reportedly bid £47m
