Just then, an angry driver jumps across the highway to punch and kick eco-protesters blocking the road

This is the moment an angry driver jumped across a highway and began punching and kicking eco-protesters who were blocking the road.
Shocking footage captured the moment the man stormed onto the B36 motorway near the Victoria Tower in Mannheim and began attacking the eco-activists.
He was seen wearing a white vest and gray tracksuit bottoms as he fought with several other angry motorists who confronted the protesters.
The environmental enthusiasts wore orange uniforms and sat on the asphalt while blocking three lanes of traffic.
When the protesters refused to move, the attacker lunged forward and began punching and kicking the group before dragging them away.
But Aimée van Baalen, a spokesperson for the last generation, remains confident that they will continue to protest despite the controversy.
“’The federal government ignored our protest for so long that scenes like yesterday in Mannheim have now occurred – that makes us sad and shocked,’” she said.
The incident occurred after a police officer poured vegetable oil over the head of a protester who was seen blocking a bridge.
