At one point, the bear apparently even broke into a local’s home by crashing through a wall.

Locals chased the bear and threw objects at it to scare it off.

The bear quickly turned to chase a local behind a house after trying to scare him away.

The animal was later drugged while hiding in a shed behind someone’s house late at night, local officials said.

Officials from the local forestry agency in India’s Uttar Pradesh region said seven people were injured in the incident in the villages of Neguraban Singh and Bagheda Kala.

It comes a day after a zebra was spotted wandering the streets of Seoul after fleeing a zoo.

The male zebra, named Sero, was at large after escaping Seoul Children’s Grand Park Zoo in South Korea.

And last month, a leopard terrorized a town for over six hours after escaping its cage, leaving five injured.

Last year a pack of wolves was spotted in a Canadian town after escaping from a zoo through a hole in the fence.
