PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Wrestlers from across the state converged on Sunday in Pittsburgh for the state championship.

It was held at the Petersen Event Center in Oakland and only children under the age of 12 attended.

“For us to be able to host this event and bring kids from across the state here, it puts them on their path to youth wrestling, high school wrestling, and then college wrestling, so it’s important, and that’s where they start,” said Steve Hoover , the chairman of Pa. junior wrestling.
