DENVER (KDKA) – A Pittsburgh dentist accused of killing his wife with a shotgun while at the African Safari zoo will stay at a detention center in Denver.
A district judge ruled that Dr Lawrence Rudolph was a “clear flight risk” and could use his $28 million fortune to flee the United States.
Dr. Rudolph was charged with one count of foreign murder and one count of mail fraud.
He was accused of murdering his wife, Bianca Rudolph while they were on vacation in Africa.
The judge also denied his request to move in with his eldest daughter in Cranberry, who now runs the Three Rivers Dental Group in her father’s absence.
