Joy-Anna Duggar’s newborn boy sucks his thumb in an adorable new photo, a day after the reality star gave birth to his third child
JOY-Anna Duggar shared a precious, candid photo of her new bundle of joy on Saturday, just a day after he arrived.
Their third child with Austin Forsyth was seen sweetly sucking his thumb and laying on his father’s chest.

Joy-Anna and Austin welcomed their son just yesterday.
In a sweet new update, Joy-Anna captioned an Instagram story, “My heart.”
Her baby was sucking his thumb and resting on Austin’s chest in the black and white snap.
When her new arrival was born for the first time, Joy-Anna captioned her announcement post: “He’s here! Thank you for praying… Mom and baby are recovering well.”
The two parents posed for the photo in the hospital room with their newborn son in their arms.
Austin and Joy-Anna also have two other children together: Gideon (5) and Evelyn (2).
She recently shared a new photo on her Instagram story with the caption, “Cutest moments ever.”
NAME GAME
Back in December, the mother-of-two shared a reference to her baby’s name.

In a video titled “Christmas Season Questions and Answers,” Joy-Anna shared with fans some much-anticipated information about her pregnancy and more.
One fan asked, “What are some name ideas for this baby?”
“Just to give you a little taste, we definitely use James as either a first name or a middle name. I think it’s probably going to be used as a middle name,” Joy-Anna explained.
“Austin’s papaya passed away a few years ago and he told him before he died that our next boy would wear ‘James.’ He agreed that we would do that,” she added.
“We’re going to mix James in somewhere,” Joy-Anna explained. “His name was Edwin James Forsyth and it was about using his name and honoring him in that way.”
Following the partial reveal of the name, fans were quick to note that while she did use the name James in some way, she said it wasn’t in honor of her own father, Jim Bob.
“I love the unintended nuance that James is 100% Austin’s grandfather and not Jimbob at all,” sneered one fan.
However, Joy-Anna has not yet revealed the name of her son.
