Joy-Anna Duggar shares important pregnancy update and admits she’s “super emotional” weeks before giving birth in new video
19 Kids and Counting star Joy-Anna Duggar has updated fans on her pregnancy in a new video as she prepares for the birth of her third child.
The 25-year-old documented her pregnancy on YouTube and even filmed the moment she found out she and husband Austin Forsyth were pregnant.

In her latest YouTube video, Joy-Anna shared exciting news just weeks before the birth of her third child: she’s having a baby boy.
The TLC star began the clip by filming herself at a doctor’s appointment, showing off sonogram photos of her son and sharing details of the snap with fans.
Later in the clip, she let fans know, “That went well.”
Joy-Anna continued: “The baby measures exactly at 33 weeks. The doctor meant – he said it could just be the baby’s position at this point.
“By this point, the baby is moving a lot, so the tummy measurement isn’t entirely accurate. Anyway, everything is going well.
“Everything looked fine: blood pressure, my vitals, everything, so I’m pretty excited.”
She then shared: “I thought after that appointment I would go every week, but it’s only after a two week break that I go to weekly appointments. And then we should be able to plan my next appointment launch date and get an idea of what we’re planning.
“I’m so excited. I can’t believe we’re two weeks away from knowing the date and from then on we’ll only be three weeks away from having the baby.
“It’s getting real, and it’s getting close.”
Joy-Anna told her followers: “I feel like I was really prepared and not worried at all. I feel like now that it’s getting so close, I am – and my hormones have been crazy lately.
“I was super emotional about everything.
“I’m not really nervous about having another baby, but I guess all the unknowns of what-ifs and whatever I’m thinking, if I think about it for too long it’s like, ‘OK, well, what would be if that, what if that.’ So I just have to give it to the Lord and trust that everything will be fine.”
The TV personality told her followers: “I’m really excited. I can’t wait to meet this little boy.”

Last month, Joy-Anna teased her due date on social media.
She shared a video with the caption, “I answer YOUR most frequently asked questions!”
At the start of the lengthy clip, she answered “the most frequently asked question,” which is, “How many weeks pregnant are you?”
The Arkansas native revealed, “I’m 30 weeks old,” before adding, “I’ll probably be initiated a little bit early.”
She then responded to a follow-up question from a fan, which read, “Do you want more kids after that?”
Joy-Anna replied: “I said like four or five but we’ll see.”
Later in the video, the TLC star said, “The other most frequently asked question was, ‘Have you named your baby yet?’ [and] ‘What’s your baby’s name?'”
She responded quickly, revealing: “We haven’t.”
She added, “We’ve got a list of about five names, maybe going as far as saying, ‘These are options.'”
Joy-Anna explained: “We won’t make a decision until the baby is born. It’s kind of a tradition that we didn’t want to create, but it happened.”
DISSENDING FATHER
Back in December, the mother-of-two shared another clue to her baby’s name.
In a video titled “Christmas Time Q&A,” Joy-Anna shared with fans some much-anticipated information about her pregnancy and more.
One fan asked, “What are some name ideas for this baby?”
“Just to give you a little taste, we definitely use James as either a first name or a middle name. I think it will probably be used as a middle name,” Joy-Anna said.
“Austin’s parrot died a few years ago and he told him before he died that our next boy would contain ‘James.’ He agreed that we would do that,” she added.
“We’re going to have James involved somewhere,” Joy-Anna explained. “His name was Edwin James Forsyth and it was about using his name and honoring him in that way.”
Following the partial reveal of the name, fans were quick to note that despite using the name James in some way, she said it wasn’t in honor of her own father, Jim Bob.
“I love the accidental shadow on James being 100% Austin’s grandfather and not Jimbob at all,” sneered one fan.
“And that she has a brother whose first name is James,” added another.
One user pointed out, “The only bummer is that Jim Bob can easily squeeze in and say it’s for Austin’s grandfather and Joy’s father!”
