Joy-Anna Duggar ignores her controversial family’s strict dress code in baggy jeans for new ‘Tomorrow Life’ video

JOY-ANNA Duggar broke her family’s controversial dress code by wearing baggy jeans in a new video showing her everyday life.

The Counting On graduate, 25, posted a video to her Instagram Stories giving fans a glimpse of what she does on a typical day when she wakes up.

“This is a typical morning in my life,” Joy-Anna said in the clip.

She is standing in front of a mirror wearing a green and white button-down blouse with palm leaves.

Her hair was pulled up in a messy ponytail and a brush and the reflection of hand soap can be seen in the mirror.

In the clip, Joy-Anna shared what she does on a typical day in her home.

“I pick up my kids, get their clothes ready, open the curtains, help them dress, which they usually do on their own.”

As she was narrating, Joy-Anna was seen opening the curtains in her home.

The former reality star wore very wide blue jeans.

This goes against family patriarch Jim Bob’s rule that women shouldn’t wear pants.

Throughout the video, Joy-Anna did various tasks in the outfit, from getting her kids ready for the day to baking waffles.

Joy-Anna has a variety of chores to do each morning, including her own hair care routine, to prepare for the day.

The ninth child of patriarch Jim Bob, 57, and matriarch Michelle, 56, appeared to have strayed from conservative guidelines they had set.

The Duggar family follows a strict dress code, usually only allowing women to dress modestly and wear dresses.

These inflexible rules include not allowing women to show their legs or dress revealingly.

Women are required to wear long skirts and cover their shoulders before leaving the house.

The Duggar children, too, were homeschooled and grew up with limited access to entertainment and television.

In May, Joy and her husband Austin Forsyth welcomed their third child, Gunner James Forsyth.

The couple share two other young children: Gideon, five, and Evelyn, two.

In late May, Jim Bob and Michelle met their 30th grandchild in the star’s latest release vlog.

In the clip, Joy-Anna’s parents made a rare appearance as they were dying to meet their youngest grandson.

Jim Bob said, “I can’t believe it.”

Michelle held the baby while Jim recited a short prayer to Bob while holding onto Joy-Anna’s shoulder.

Recently, the now-mum-of-three showed off her postpartum curves while promoting her favorite hair product.

In the bathroom, she wore a baggy black t-shirt while removing her hair tie and tossing her highlighted curls.

Joy-Anna held a can of Marine Sailor Talk dry shampoo while demonstrating how to use the product on her own hair.

While handing out the directions, she applied shampoo to the roots of her hair, then massaged some of her scalp.

The star dazzled with foundation and lots of black mascara.

She captioned the post, “Favorite hair product as a postpartum mom.”
