JOY-ANNA Duggar has broken her family’s controversial strict dress code in a new video.
The former Counting On star, her husband Austin Forsyth, 29, and their three children: Gideon, 5, and Evelyn, 2, and Baby Gunner, 2 months, went on a road trip and documented it on YouTube.

Joy-Anna, 25, recently shared a vlog shows the family vacation they took with their brother Jed, 24, his wife Katey Nakatsu, 24, and their two children: Truett, one, and their newborn daughter, Nora.
The family decided to take an extended road trip to Wyoming to visit Yellowstone National Park for ten days.
In the video, the TLC star shared some updates on how the trip went and her planned activities.
When they arrived in Wyoming, the family enjoyed a day at Grand Teton Mountain, where Joy-Anna and Giden rode a giant roller coaster.
The TV personality flouted her family’s dress code by wearing skinny jeans and a long-sleeved tan shirt that read “Colorado.”
This isn’t the first time Duggar has broken her family’s rules.
REBEL JOY
Earlier this month, Joy-Anna posted a video to her Instagram Stories giving fans a glimpse of what she does when she wakes up on a typical day.
“This is a typical morning in my life,” Joy-Anna said in the clip.
She is standing in front of a mirror wearing a green and white button-down blouse with palm leaves.
Her hair was pulled back in a messy ponytail and a brush and the reflection of hand soap can be seen in the mirror.
In the clip, Joy-Anna shared what she does on a typical day in her home.
“I pick up my kids, get their clothes ready, open the curtains, help them dress, which they usually do on their own.”
As she was narrating, Joy-Anna was seen opening the curtains in her home.
The former reality star wore very wide blue jeans.
This goes against family patriarch Jim Bob’s rule that women shouldn’t wear pants.
Throughout the video, Joy-Anna did various tasks in the outfit, from getting her kids ready for the day to baking waffles.
Joy-Anna has a variety of chores to do each morning, including her own hair care routine, to prepare for the day.
The rules of modesty
The ninth child of patriarch Jim Bob, 57, and matriarch Michelle, 56, appeared to have strayed from conservative guidelines they had set.
The Duggar family follows a strict dress code, which usually only allows women to dress modestly and wear dresses.
These inflexible rules include not allowing women to show their legs or dress revealingly.
It is obligatory for women to wear long skirts and cover their shoulders before leaving the house.
The Duggar children, too, were homeschooled and grew up with limited access to entertainment and television.
