JOSH Duggar’s wife Anna looked stoic as she came into court over his child pornography conviction.
Josh, 34, was found guilty on December 9 of possessing and receiving child pornography.
Anna supported the disgraced Counting On graduate throughout his trial and reappeared in court for his sentencing on Wednesday.
While prosecutors are asking Judge Timothy L. Brooks to sentence the disgraced star to 20 years in prison, Josh’s legal team is begging for just five years behind bars.
The Sun can exclusively reveal that Anna, 33, and Josh’s mother Michelle, 55, were the only immediate family members to write letters to the judge.
In Anna’s letter, she describes her 13-year-old husband and father of their seven children as “considerate, respectful, quick to forgive, patient and truly the kindest person.”
Her letter read: “Joshua has worked hard to provide for me and our (now) seven children. But by far the happiest part of the day is when dad comes home from work and his happy voice fills the house. ‘Hello folks! How are you? What did you learn at school today?’ are usually the conversation starters between the greetings of each of our children.
“Joshua is a dedicated father who enjoys throwing soccer with his sons, listening to our daughters play a new song they’ve learned on the piano, helping with their homework, or cleaning up spilled cookies.
“He is a kind, loving, supportive and caring father and husband – his main focus in life. My children and I rely on Joshua for financial, emotional and physical support. Many others also depend on Joshua.
