Jose Mourinho’s kids are branching out on their own, with daughter an award-winning jeweler and son an aspiring coach

HE is not the only Special One in the family.
For years, Jose Mourinho lived up to that moniker, leading the likes of Porto, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Manchester United, Tottenham and now Roma to success.
But Matilde’s daughter is showing her own unique talent as a jeweler.
The 25-year-old’s Matilde Jewelery brand won Emerging Brand of the Year at the Professional Jewelers Awards.
While his son Jose Jr, 21, is an aspiring footballer and coach who has been chasing Fulham.
MATILDE
Back in December 2020, Jose’s ambitious child launched his own jewelry brand.
What sets it apart from the competition is her promise to make products from sustainable materials.
Her fascination with jewelry began in 2018, when she was given a gold bracelet by her parents for her 18th birthday.
“I’m so excited. It’s my first matching piece of jewelry,” she said Daily mail.
She uses lab-grown diamonds because they have “the least impact on the environment.”
Matilde studied her craft at London College of Fashion before earning a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship: Fashion and Creative Industries at Conde Nast College of Design and Fashion.
While shopping with her mother, she learned that diamonds can be grown in a laboratory.
She said: “We walked into a store where a jewelry brand was doing pop-ups. The founder came forward and said, ‘Did you know all of our jewelry uses needles? lab-grown diamonds?” I said, ‘What?’ I was intrigued.
“My mom was born in Angola, where a lot of the terrible effects of blood diamonds have taken place. She’s always been vocal about it. She thinks it’s amazing that lab-grown diamonds exist.” .
Matilde now has her own pop-up shop in central London’s Soho, open until Christmas Eve.
Inside, you’ll find men’s and women’s pieces costing up to £1,850.
Famous fans include actress Naomi Scott and film producer Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
While dad Jose wore a bracelet and ring made by his daughter while training with Roma.
JOSE JR
Although he is currently without a club, Mourinho’s son Jose Jr is a capable goalkeeper.
For three years, he starred in Fulham’s books before being released in 2017.
Now 21 years old, he might consider moving into coaching.
And, if his father is to be believed, he can become a better coach than he is.
Back in 2018, the youngster was on the bench with his father when Manchester United took on Swansea.
As for his work experience, he then offered a tactical analysis of what went wrong with his father’s side.
Jose revealed: “During a period of some bad results one day, he gave some analysis of my team – obviously very upset because Dad wasn’t doing well.
“I think, we lost to Watford and Manchester City, and he came up with the team stats. I gave them to my assistants and I said to them, ‘Be careful because one day’s going to happen. Someday this boy will take your place.”
“But in reality, I compare him to me at his age, where I would try to do the same things for my dad – with different technological methods of course, but analysis from one 16 year old kid.”
The apple didn’t fall too far from the tree, as Mourinho’s children were finding their own way in life.
Apparently, Special People have produced a few Special People.
