MANCHESTER UNITED are facing competition from former manager Jose Mourinho to sign Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara.
Roma and manager Mourinho, 58, are said to have come to open talks with Kamara and his agent.
La Repubblica have reported that Roma are hoping to strike an agreement with Marseille for the defensive midfielder.
The Marseille-born youngster has made 142 appearances for the club since making his first-team debut at the age of 17.
