A video posted on Roma’s Twitter The report shows how the entire Roma squad and coaching staff rewarded Mourinho with a wonderful standing ovation in the dressing room.

The smiling silver fox – clad in his club tracksuit with socks and mules – appreciated the touching gesture as his peers clapped and sang.

Mourinho is seen walking to the center of the room to blow out the two candles on the chocolate cake decorated with his face before heading back to the door.

He then returns to pick up the large knife and cut a perfectly executed slice.

The Portuguese chef expertly carries the sponge and icing on the blade – making it look like a breeze as he balances it perfectly.

And Mourinho heads straight to Lorenzo Pellegrini in the corner and hands it over to his captain, just like he did on his 59th birthday last year.

In doing so, he completely snubs the wanton star Nicolo Zaniolo, who is standing right next to his skipper.

Zaniolo is set to leave the Stadio Olimpico as Newcastle, Manchester United and Tottenham are all interested in signing the 23-year-old midfielder.

Rick Karsdorp is treated similarly by his manager.

Karsdorp has not played for Roma since his boss accused him of betraying the team with his attitude.

Mourinho waves while absorbing the flattery.

But when asked to speak, the ex-Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham coach responded in a classic way.

He says, “What speech? Let’s go to work, we have a game on Sunday, come on.”

The Europa Conference League winners sit fifth on 37 points alongside Lazio and Inter Milan, with AC Milan just ahead on 38 and sixth-placed Atalanta on 35 points.
