Johnny Knoxville suffers brain damage from Jackass stunts and adds to the crew’s $24 million injury

JOHNNY Knoxville reveals he suffered brain damage and other injuries while performing Jackass stunts.

The funny guy will not perform stunts in the new movie Jackass Forever.

Johnny Appears on Howard Stern . Program before the movie was released.

During the interview, he shared about his many injuries, admitting that he broke his wrist while doing the stunt. Jackass Foreveras well as rib fractures and concussions.

That concussion was followed by a brain hemorrhage, much more severe than any other trauma.

Johnny revealed that the head injury left him with cognitive impairment.

He revealed: “My cognitive abilities were severely impaired after that blow…

“No one in my family is satisfied with the stunt.”

Johnny went on to reveal that he was injured in a gore from a bull.

He called it the “worst beating” he had ever experienced.

The comic detailed the traumatic experience on the radio show, telling host Howard Stern: “The bull hit was the worst hit I’ve ever received from a bull or possibly the period.

“I remember doing some tests. The neurosurgeon said, ‘Do you have trouble paying attention right now?’

“I said, ‘Yeah, why?’ He said, ‘Because you scored 17 points on [your attention]. ‘ It’s out of 100.”

Johnny continued: “I’ve had to go through all these kinds of treatments, this transcranial magnetic stimulation, which pokes you in the head with these magnets for about 30 minutes each time like, oh my God. hey, i would say 10 to 12 treatments a series of two months and it is said to work for depression and to help improve my cognitive skills.

“It’s a tough one to come back from.

“I was trying to edit the movie at the time but I just couldn’t sit still.”

Johnny said he’s “done enough” of stunts over the years.

GREEN FEELING

After the incident, Johnny said he struggled with some depression.

He said on the radio show: “I fell into a bit of a depression with this last concussion.

“It’s never happened before.”

Johnny continued: “I couldn’t take any more blows to the head.

“My brain is just playing with me.

“I was really depressed and over-focused on everything. I had to start taking medication for the first time in my life.”

He added: “It completely turned me on – that and did the therapy.

“It’s been a really tough recovery from this last injury but I’m great now.

“I feel like the healthiest person I’ve ever had.”

MEDICAL BILLS

Johnny’s injury is the latest in a long string of painful lessons the Jackass crew has learned over the years.

According to a study from Nova Legal FundingThe cast has racked up $24 million in medical bills over the course of several years.

The study included an itemized list of injuries suffered by the cast.

Each injury is ranked in order of highest medical fees.

Johnny leads the cast with $8.6 million in hospital bills over the years.

According to the study, the recent brain hemorrhage was his most expensive injury, amounting to $2.5 million.

Not far behind Johnny is Ehren McGhehey, who broke his neck three times and earned $7.4 million in medical care.

Steve-O, who broke most of his bones, faced $5.8 million in medical costs.
