The UFC commentator posted a harrowing comment clip a praying mantis eating a moth while it is still alive.

In the caption, he even noted that he watches similar videos quite often.

“I spend a surprising amount of time watching videos of praying mantis mercilessly devouring other bugs while they’re still alive,” Rogan wrote.

The former Fear Factor presenter has been known to have plenty of wild interests, which is likely to captivate his almost 17 million followers on his Instagram page.

Fans had mixed feelings about the clip, and many were stunned to see Rogan’s clip on their feed.

“I didn’t expect to see this today. Thanks Joe Ig,” one person wrote.

Another pointed out that the video was “sadistic” as the mantis attacked the moth’s face first when eating.

“These things are sadistic because they eat their face first,” they noted.

Others were left baffled by what they saw of Rogan.

“Weird flex but ok,” added a fan.

One viewer even dubbed the clip “Nightmare Fuel.”

Some were just plain disgusted, especially those who ate a meal while scrolling through the social media platform.

“This is freaking gross,” commented one user.

“Damn Joe, I ate,” echoed another.

Not to mention that Rogan has posted insect content before Essentially sports.

Just a few months ago, Rogan posted a photo of a spider on his Instagram book page that he found in his garage.

Rogan admitted that while it was fascinating, he was afraid of larger spiders that resembled the ones he had found.

The UFC commentator added that if the spider had been a rat or a mouse, he would surely have helped the creature out of the garage.
