Joe Rogan fans discover ‘strange’ details after podcast host shares update on show, asking if he’s ‘scared’ of guests
EAGLE-eyed fans of Joe Rogan spotted a bizarre detail in a picture he shared with a guest on his show.
Rogan taped an episode with bestselling author Jack Caruso about his latest book Only The Dead last week – but her awkward pose took the center stage for fans.

Rogan posted on Instagram that it was an “honor” and “a pleasure to sit with the great and powerful.” @jackcarrusa!” and poked around for his new book.
“Jack is one of the coolest guys in the world and I always appreciate our conversations,” he added.
However, fans were quick to point out that Rogan’s appreciation for Caruso wasn’t as clear in the accompanying lyrics photo.
In the picture, Rogan and Caruso can be seen smiling and holding each other at arms distance while attempting a half hug.
Fans had a lot of questions, one of which was: “You’re all scared of each other aren’t you????”
“That awkward side embraces Joe. You look like you have a germ problem,” commented a second follower.
Another described the awkwardness simply as “social distancing.”
“Lots of space between you two,” remarked a third, while a fourth follower asked, “Should someone stand in the middle?”
According to Caruso’s website, Caruso has guested at least twice on Rogan’s hugely popular radio show, which draws an estimated 11 million listeners each episode.
On these previous visits, the two appeared friendlier in public photos.
The two posed with a prop wolf with one frighteningly large head in April 2020, and Rogan shared a picture of Caruso’s F**King Fantastic book on his Instagram.
In May 2022, Caruso revisited Rogan and tweeted a photo of the two in a similar but obviously warmer embrace than in the recent photo.
“It’s always great to exchange ideas with others @joerogan‘ the author captioned the photo at the time.
And with over 17 million followers Instagram and another 11 million TwitterRogan has a bigger audience than most politicians.
