Cole was asked to pull the teams from all 32 clubs out of the hat to decide their fate in the competition.

Before driving off, he was asked about his memories of the last venue of the year, Wembley Stadium.

He said: “It’s very romantic, especially for English players. I also played at old Wembley.”

However, the 41-year-old then revealed he snuck into old Wembley as a child without a ticket.

A mischievous grin crossed his face as he opened the lid to his childhood memories of Boden.

He joked: “I lived not far from (Wembley) and used to sneak in when I didn’t have a ticket.”

Luckily, glamorous TNT Sports presenter Reshmin Chowdhury chuckled at the admission before replying: “We’re releasing you.”

Following the reveal, fans rushed to share their thoughts online.

Cole also sent fans into hysterics after making a horrified face as he pulled Crvena Zvezda, aka Red Star Belgrade, out of the hat.

The Serbian club is referred to as Red Star Belgrade in English-speaking countries, while it is called Crvena Zvezda in its home country.
