Joao Felix hits new low on return to training from Atlético Madrid after Chelsea loan deal fell through as PSG are linked with a transfer

The outcast Joao Felix has had to train partly with the Atlético Madrid youth team during the club’s return to pre-season.
The 23-year-old Portuguese striker joined Chelsea in January to spend the second half of last season on loan.
Felix scored four goals in 16 Premier League games but failed to halt the Blues’ decline.
Although it was widely believed that this summer’s move would be a permanent one, he was stunned when it emerged that Chelsea had other goals in mind and Mauricio Pochettino’s side had already stepped up their attack.
Nicolas Jackson has joined from Villarreal for £32m while they have also confirmed the signing of RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku for £52m.
Felix, who joined Atlético from Benfica for £113m in 2019, had a falling out with La Liga manager Diego Simeone last season.
And the club still appear ready to let him go after the latest squad numbers for the 2023/24 season were announced.
The ace, who that Daily Mail claims that Paris Saint-Germain are stalking him, he has had his number 7 shirt taken away, the number he had worn since arriving at Atletico and Antoine Griezmann will wear it this season instead amid speculation about the future increase from Felix.
Now footage has shown him working with the kids on the first day of Atletico’s pre-season training camp.
He and Renan Lodi, the 25-year-old defender who was loaned to Nottingham Forest last season, were “sent to an academy rondo” while Simeone led a tactical drill with the first-team.

And the publication added that “his gestures were those of someone who was in their skin but not in their soul,” as they implied his mind seemed to be elsewhere.
It is understood Felix is keen to move to the Parc des Princes as he aims to secure an exit from Spain.
And the new PSG boss Luis Enrique is also said to be interested in making this happen.
