JJ Watt may be back for the knockouts

Cardinals Defensive End JJ Watt could make a surprise comeback in the first week of the knockouts, according to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport. Watt hasn’t played for the Cardinals since Week 7 after he injured his shoulder in a game against his former team, the Houston Texans.

Rapport wrote:

“Although it seemed impossible at the time of his surgery, JJ Watt is actually planning to return to the pitch in the first week of the knockouts. Not sure yet, but it could be. is an incredible rebound for the star.”

The injury was expected to end the season, but after Rapoport’s latest update, the 32-year-old could return after the season. The Cardinals posted to their Twitter accounts, saying they were specifying Watt’s return from the Wounded Reserve.

While that seemed unlikely at the time of his surgery, JJ Watt is actually planning to return to the pitch in the first week of the knockouts. It’s not certain yet, but it’s possible. It will be an amazing recovery for the star. twitter.com/RapSheet/statu…

The Cardinals were late, especially when it came to crimes. However, the defense allowed games to return with 30 points, along with allowing the Colts to get 22 points. All three lost, and Arizona regained some of their groove to fight Dak Prescott and the Cowboys last Sunday.

While Watt doesn’t burn the world in first seven games for his new team, registering just one bag, five tackles to lose and 10 midfield hits, his presence along the defense made him count offenses on every ball he played.

The veteran defense will have two weeks to get back into football form, but one thing in his favor is that the Cardinals have basically used him as a side player anyway.

Only once has he played 90% or more of defensive saves, often playing between 70 and 80% of saves for his new team.

The Cardinals have designated DL JJ Watt to return from IR. Giant.

Arizona is having its first playoff game since 2015 when the organization lost to the Carolina Panthers. The 32-year-old will add another dimension to the defence, and by pairing him with Chandler Jones, the Cardinals will have another serious pass.

The five-time pro and five-time pro will do everything in their power to stay in the best shape possible for the knockout stages and if the Cardinals want to go deep, the veteran will need must make an impact.
