Jim Ross was cancer free before AEW came back

AEW announcer Jim Ross took to his Twitter page for an update on his cancer treatment, and it was the news everyone wanted.
At the end of October, the legendary broadcaster announced that he was suffering from skin cancer. Although he wanted to deal with his personal condition, JR had to undergo radiation therapy for cancer in his legs.
Now, after a short absence from the comment room, Jim Ross has announced that he is officially cancer free.
In his absence, Excalibur and Tony Schiavone were joined by the likes of Taz, Hanging Page and MJF on commentary when Jim Ross had to be treated for skin cancer on his leg.
Due to the nature of the treatment, The Man Under The Black Hat had to undergo cancer treatment most of the days before the holidays. The first session took place on November 29, and the last session took place on December 29.
Jim Ross will return to AEW this week.
JR may have been out of work for a while, but the job was never taken from him. JR will return to his place in the booth next to Excalibur and Tony Schiavone in the ‘New Year Smash’ version of AEW Dynamite.
Not only will AEW fans be able to hear JR’s sweet voice in their ears once again, but they’ll also get to watch an amazing series of wrestling matches to round out the AEW calendar.
Thunder Rosa and Jade Cargill will battle for the right to face Ruby Soho in the final of the TBS tournament in their semi-final. Eddie Kingston, Santana and Ortiz will face 2point0 and Daniel Garcia, and Kyle O’Reilly will be making their debut for AEW.
O’Reilly will team up with former ‘Uncontroversial Era’ teammates Adam Cole and Bobby Fish to face the team of Orange Cassidy and Best Friends, Chuck Taylor and Trent.
