Jigokuraku reveals key visuals, trailer and more on Jump Festa 2022 Day 2

The Jigokuraku manga adaptation into anime has been highly anticipated by fans. Jump Festa 2022 has become the perfect occasion for its official reveal. The anime was first announced in January 2021 and the wait has been well worth it, with new anime updates revealed in Jigokuraku Turn on the RED stage Day 2.

Highlights of Jigokuraku Jump RED Stage

The Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku Jump Festa 2022 event features Yoshikawa Kitchomu, Haruna Iikubo and Sekai from Japanese band FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE. They discuss the series’ characters, certain manga panels, as well as fan-recommended battles.

There are some significant savings, but for those who haven’t seen the manga, the panel picks up battles to reinforce the awesome art style of the Hell of Heaven manga.

Both grotesque and engaging, author and illustrator Yuji Kaku takes the method to make or break a dark manga like this and does it expertly. Kaku also sent a brief message about the new anime adaptation. The panel also briefly discussed Yuji Kaku’s current and ongoing projects Jigokuraku, titled Ayashimon.

Main image and trailer

The Jigokuraku RED stage fulfilled its promise and released the first part main image for new anime. The main image of the two main characters, Gabimaru and Sagiri, with Gabimaru reflected on Sagiri’s sword. The art is minimal and clean and the dark background makes the characters stand out beautifully.

The event also released the first teaser of Jigokuraku anime, animating some of the manga panels discussed by the panel earlier during the stage. The series features many scenes of violence and nudity. Though rather light, the teaser hints that the anime will likely be rated 18+.

Studio and release date

Jigokuraku The Jump RED stage event doesn’t stop here. While production under TWIN ENGINE was revealed during the first announcement of the anime adaptation, the teaser confirms that the studio in charge of animation for the series is MAPPA.

I’m happy to hear that Jigokuraku will get an anime adaptation and it’s Mappa’s but I just hope Mappa will pay their staff just the same🧍🏻‍♀️I hope the staff will still get a break despite all this. all the highly anticipated titles they will release next year😣…

However, this development has caused mixed emotions, with some advocating that MAPPA pick the series and hope that it will get a similar treatment to the series. Jujutsu Kaisen. In contrast, others have complained that MAPPA has too much stuff on its plate. They worry that the studio will rush to animate the series or put less effort into it because the anime is a new series.
