Jesus ‘wants to join’ Gunners, Arsenal and Man Utd in ‘heated duel’ to sign Vitinha, Raphinha UPDATE – latest news

Morning Arsenal fans

Gunners target Victor Osimhen has revealed he will decide his future after completing international duty in Nigeria.

Osimhen, who plays for Napoli, told CalcioMercato: “I know there are a lot of people who would like me in Spain or England but I don’t think now is the right time to talk about it as I’m in of the national team.

“I always go out on the pitch to do my best, both with the national team and with my club.

“I don’t know my future, I know anything can happen, but right now I just want to go on holiday with my family, clear my head and recharge my batteries.

“Then we’ll take care of everything else.”

Meanwhile, former Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has expressed his delight at being in the Champions League with Barcelona.

Aubameyang said: “I am looking forward to the new season because we have a lot of talent and we will enjoy it.

“I know it wasn’t easy, but in the end we’re in the Champions League and that’s the most important thing.

“I gave the maximum that I could give this year.”

Elsewhere, Arsenal are hoping they can secure a deal for Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans before the end of the month, according to reports.

Journalist Ben Jacobs said: “Arsenal remain confident and on track to sign Youri Tielemans before the end of the month.

“Tottenham’s interest was never too advanced. But Bissouma’s arrival will allay fears that Spurs could hijack the deal.

“Tielemans is one of Arteta’s top priorities.”

Finally, Arsenal have received a boost in chasing Man City striker Gabriel Jesus.

That’s because the player’s agent Marcello Pettinati is set to land in Europe in the next few hours, according to Calciomercato.

And Pettinati will be stopping in London during his travels, the report adds.
