JENNIFER Lopez and Ben Affleck confirmed their engagement late Friday night amid speculation from fans.
The singer was spotted wearing a massive diamond ring days earlier.

A rep for the singer/actress confirmed the happy news to PEOPLE on Friday.
Jennifer, 52, also revealed her engagement in her On the JLo newsletter after she was photographed wearing her new ring.
In an email Friday night, she gushed about their love story.
The New York native shared a clip of her admiring a large green diamond sitting on her wedding ring finger.
The On The Floor singer’s sister shared the video on Twitter and wrote: “Big announcement!!!!”
In the video, she gushed, “So I have a really exciting and special story to share…”
The mother-of-two also added a diamond ring emoji to her Twitter handle, further teasing the engagement.
She and Ben famously dated almost two decades ago and first became engaged in November 2002.
They split in 2004 but, much to the surprise of fans, rekindled their romance in 2021 and have been hot and heavy since then.

Reflecting on their whirlwind romantic journey and what makes their connection different after all these years, the Grammy winner told PEOPLE, “We’re older now, we’re smarter, we’re more experienced, we’re in different places in ours Life , we have children now and we have to be very aware of these things.”
She continued: “It’s a beautiful outcome that this has happened in this way at this point in our lives where we can really appreciate and celebrate and respect one another.
“We’ve always done that, but we have even more appreciation because we know that life can take you in different directions.”
The Marry Me star concluded: “We’ve been in the game long enough in public to know who we are as people and what really matters and what doesn’t.
“We have children and we respect each other. … We really do live our lives in ways that we can be proud of and our children can be proud of. We only work from a place of love and respect for everyone in our lives and that is very important to us, we know what the truth is [and] we keep it sacred.”
Jennifer shares 14-year-old twins Emme and Max with Marc Anthony, her ex-husband.
Before resuming her relationship with the Tender Bar star, she was engaged to Alex Rodriguez.
Ben, meanwhile, is dad to Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10 – all of whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

Earlier this week, Jennifer was spotted wearing a huge diamond on her finger.
The sighting came shortly after she and her future husband bought a $50 million mansion together.
She was shopping for furniture when she was photographed with the ring on her left ring finger.
As she exited the store, she was snapped as she appeared to be trying to hide the massive piece of prenuptial jewelry from view by curling her fingers toward her palm.
She wore a printed floaty dress and nude heels as she browsed the store with daughter Emme at her side.
They strolled through the furniture store HD Buttercup and DL Rhein in Culver City, Los Angeles.

Jen and the Argo actor’s new $55 million mansion features a pool, courtyard and private parking.
The couple is preparing to relocate as a unit to the prime neighborhood of Bel Air with their blended family.
The mansion was built in the 1930’s and has a whopping 10 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms.
The three story home also features a wine cellar, movie theater and wood paneled office.
Outside there is a large infinity pool, putting green, manicured gardens, and multiple fire pits.
