Former Minnesota Vikings cornerback Jeff Gladney has died aged just 25, and police reports say he was not alone when he died.

The death of Gladney, who was recently drafted into the Arizona Cardinals, began circulating on social media Monday.

Gladney was reportedly killed in a car crash early Monday morning, his agent Brian Overstreet confirmed to Star-Telegram.

According to initial reports of the car accident from CBS, Dallas police said a man and a woman died in the accident, which happened just before 2:30 a.m.

The second victim has not been identified.

NFL wide receiver Jalen Reagor shared the devastating news on Twitter, saying, “I’ve lost my brother, my best friend, my right hand man…I can’t take much more damn it!”

The young sports star was the 2020 first-round draft pick for the Minnesota Vikings.

He then became one of the free-agent signings the Arizona Cardinals made during the March offseason.

    According to CBS’ initial reports of the car accident, Dallas Police said two people died in the crash, which happened just before 2:30 a.m.

    Dispatchers advanced to the area following reports of an accident involving an overturned vehicle.
