Jason Billingsley’s dark past comes to light as police urgently search for tech CEO Pava LaPere’s murder suspect

The dark past of a suspect believed to be involved in the murder of a tech CEO has been uncovered as police search for the alleged perpetrator.
Jason Billingsley, 32, has an arrest warrant issued by Baltimore police who believe he is behind the death of Pava Marie LaPere, 26.
LaPere’s body was found by police in her apartment on Monday and it was determined she died of blunt force trauma.
Billingsley is wanted for first-degree murder, assault, reckless endangerment and more.
The man has a criminal history that includes a 2011 arrest for attempted rape.
He was given a 30-year prison sentence, but was paroled in October 2022.


Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley described Billingsley as a “repeat violent offender” during a news conference Tuesday.
