Jamie Lynn Spears says she’s suing for divorce after husband Jamie Watson shared new photo ‘without her consent’

JAMIE Lynn Spears has revealed she is planning to divorce her husband after he revealed something personal about her on social media.

The Zoey 101 graduate took to her Instagram Stories on Monday after her husband Jamie Watson posted a photo of her and their daughter Maddie Briann to his Instagram account.

Jamie, 32, and Maddie Briann, 14, both lay together on the living room couch in the adorable snap shared online by her husband Jamie, 40, yesterday.

The former Nickelodeon star’s mouth was open as she appeared to be sleeping peacefully under a blanket in a loose-fitting t-shirt.

Maddie Briann also appeared to be asleep, wearing ripped jean shorts and a pink blouse, and appeared to be coming home from somewhere or resting before going anywhere.

The teen’s stepdad captioned the photo of the mother-daughter duo: “Pretty wild over here.”

On her Instagram Stories, Jamie reposted her spouse’s Instagram post with a serious-sounding comment.

“He posted without our consent,” reads Jamie’s caption.

“I’m suing him for a divorce.”

Britney Spears’ sister has been married to Jamie since 2014.

NO LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

Jamie’s husband is from Louisiana and met her in 2010 after the split between her and her baby father.

Casey Aldridge, 34, is Maddie Briann’s father.

He currently runs a company that sells electronics to corporations.

In a TLC special, “Jamie Lynn Spears: When the Lights Go Out,” which aired in 2016, Jamie described himself as a “normal guy with a normal job.”

He even admitted not knowing who the actress was when they first met.

Following Britney’s emotional testimony at her conservatory hearing on June 23, 2021, Watson spoke out for his sister-in-law.

“I can assure you that her family loves her and wants the best for her,” Jamie told the New York Post at the time.

“I wouldn’t be around people who weren’t. Who wouldn’t want to support Britney?”

Her testimony marked the first time Britney had spoken out in court about the conservatory board introduced in 2008 in over 13 years.

Britney described the conservatory work as “stupid” and “offensive”.

On Friday, November 12, 2021, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny announced the termination of Britney’s conservatory.

The couple have one daughter together: Ivey Joan Watsonfour, born in 2018.

“Ivey has brought us so much joy over the past three years that it was only fair that we had a celebration just for IVEY, with all the things that fill her little mind with the same joy and love that she does with everyone around her.” Spears said in an April 2021 Instagram post celebrating Ivey’s third birthday.

While the couple has only one child together, Jamie is also the stepfather to his wife’s other child, Maddie Briann.

Spears announced in 2008 that she was 16 and pregnant.

At that time, she starred in the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101, which ended due to her pregnancy.

After Ivey’s birth in 2018, Spears spoke up People Magazine about being a mother for the second time.

“As we all know, there was a lot of chaos during my last pregnancy,” she said.

“I would say being a mother is being a mother: it doesn’t matter if you’re a teenager or not, there should be no excuse for not being a great mother. It doesn’t matter how old you are.”

Jamie added that the only difference between Maddie’s and Ivey’s pregnancies is the support system around them.

Maddie Briann’s father Casey was arrested in 2020 and charged with five counts of warehouse burglary and one apartment break-in.

In 2017, when Maddie Briann was 8 years old, she was in an ATV accident.

She and her mother later appeared on an episode of Nickelodeon’s Double Dare, where they won $15,000 to donate to the New Orleans Hospital, which was helping to treat Maddie after the accident.
