Jamie Carragher lists £100m transfer signings including Bellingham and Caicedo and it’s not good news for Arsenal

JAMIE CARRAGHER has listed this summer’s £100m transfer signings – and it’s not good news for Arsenal.
The Liverpool legend believes Jude Bellingham has a head and shoulders above the likes of Declan Rice and Enzo Fernandez.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid have all broken the £100m mark to sign midfield reinforcements this summer.
The price barrier has been broken four times this year, with Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo, Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham all switching over £100m.
And Carragher was inevitably asked to rank the four midfielders The Sky Sports Premier League Youtube channel.
The Liverpool hero said: “I have Jude Bellingham as number 1.”
“I think No. 2 and maybe that’s just because of the performance on Sunday. Maybe I’ll put Fernandez second because I saw there.”
“When we see him go a lot further up front, he looks like a complete midfielder, especially when he’s scoring more goals.”
“Next I would pick Declan Rice and I would pick Caicedo fourth who I’m a big fan of but I would just put him fourth on that list now and see how he does at Chelsea.”
Despite having demonstrably more Premier League experience, Rice was ranked lower than Fernandez.

The Argentina international joined Chelsea in January but has only shown fleeting signs of his potential in a tumultuous first six months at Stamford Bridge.
But Fernandez produced a brilliant performance in the middle of the park as Mauricio Pochettino’s side suffered a 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
Whilst Rice, valued at £105million – who recently rose to European fame as West Ham captain – took a modest third place on the list.
Bellingham and Rice made their debut league appearances for Real Madrid and Arsenal respectively.
Caicedo finally joined Chelsea from Brighton this week for a new British record fee and is expected to make his debut against West Ham on Sunday.
Despite their extravagant summer spending, Chelsea are far from done agreeing a £60million transfer fee for Romeo Lavia with Southampton.
They have also activated the £35m release clause in Michael Olise’s Crystal Palace contract.
After beating both Lavia and Caicedo against Todd Boehly’s side, Liverpool now focused on signing Stuggart’s Wataru Endo.

The Reds also fear a transfer of their own as Sofyan Amrabat’s move from Fiorentina to Manchester United is in jeopardy.
