Jake Paul’s team tried to pay Hasim Rahman Jr. for a dive and that’s why the fight was called off, says ex-MMA star Danis

DILLON DANIS has claimed Jake Paul tried and failed to pay Hasim Rahman Jr. for a dive before their fight was scrapped.
Paul was scheduled to face Rahman next weekend at New York’s famous Madison Square Garden.

But after a weight difference between the two, the entire pay-per-view event was scrapped.
Rahman has since spoken out, suggesting his uncle — undefeated cruiserweight Muhsin Cason — be offered as a back-up alternative.
However, former Bellator MMA star Danis has sensationally claimed there is a much more sinister reason the fight was scrapped.
Confirming the fight and the rest of the PPV was off, Paul tweeted: “First Tommy Fumbled and now Hasim Rahman Crumbled.
“These boxers are the most difficult people to work with and they consistently lack the professionalism and confidence to fight me.
“My apologies to all the other fighters on the map, our partners, our team and the fans.”
But Danis responded to the problem child’s tweet with: “I heard from Jake Paul’s camp that his manager and team tried to pay Hasim Rahman for a dive but they refused.
“So Jake Paul’s team came up with an excuse to pull out of the fight.”
Rahman signed to fight at the 14th 4-pound cruiserweight limit of 200 pounds.

And that’s despite having 16 stone in his last fight in April.
And he also had to meet a strict rehydration limit at the weigh-in the next day.
Due to Rahman’s severe weight loss, the New York State Athletic Commission wanted to track his progress.
Paul said with just a week off, NYSAC changed the fight weight to 205 pounds.
But when Rahman reportedly demanded to come in with 215 pounds, the fight was soon stopped.
