Roach told FightHype: “Tyson looked at him and left.
“He saw 30 seconds of him sparring and said, ‘Freddie, can we go down and see the pictures?’
“He knows that’s where the good pictures are. He wasn’t as interested as I was.”
But the boxer-turned-social media sensation claimed Roach made up the whole story as he had never trained at the trainer’s famous gym before.

Paul, 25, told talkSPORT: “First of all, I saw these things that Freddie Roach said – that I was like sparring at his gym.
“First of all I’ve never trained at a wild card gym, Freddie is a friggin’ idiot, he’s a hater.
“He trained Ben Askren in vain, literally worthless, he got out of control.
“He literally doesn’t train good fighters anymore and he hates Jake Paul.

“Mike Tyson has never watched me spar, Mike Tyson has never been to the gym with me.
“I went to Wild Card once to speak to someone for a meeting and for my brother’s press conference there.
“But Mike Tyson wasn’t anywhere around so just Freddie Roach spreading rumours. Mainly ’cause me and Mike are friends, man.
“Mike wouldn’t do that, Mike wouldn’t say, ‘Ah fuck that kid, let’s go and do something else.’
“Mike respects me and I respect Mike, but it would be awesome to fight. I’m down Might be fun.”
First of all I’ve never worked out at the wild card gym, Freddie is a fucking idiot, he’s a hater.
Jake-Paul
Tyson, 56, helped Paul’s boxing career with a spot on his undercard in 2020.
At the time, the social media sensation had won his professional boxing debut by defeating online rival “AnEsonGib” in one round.
Tyson returned to the ring after 15 years, drawing with Roy Jones Jr., 53, in an exhibition bout.
But Paul stole the show when he brutally knocked out ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, 38, in two rounds.

He has since beaten former UFC pairing Askren, 38, and Tyron Woodley, 40, defeating the ex-UFC champion in their rematch.
Paul returns on Oct. 29 in Arizona against UFC legend Anderson Silva, 47, who also has a 4-1 boxing record.
