Jake Paul reveals terms for Floyd Mayweather fight and says boxing legend ‘cannot function’ without luxurious lifestyle

JAKE PAUL said Floyd Mayweather “couldn’t function” without his luxurious lifestyle and revealed terms to fight the boxing legend.

Mayweather has had four unsanctioned fights since retiring in 2017 after defeating UFC superstar Conor McGregor, 34.

One involved Jake’s brother Logan, 27, who won the boxing legend over the distance of eight rounds in July 2021.

Mayweather, 45, defeated Japanese MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura, 30, in two rounds last weekend.

And days later, he announced another exhibition with YouTuber Deji, 25, on November 13 in Dubai.

Paul, 25, slammed Mayweather over the cash grab boxing cameos, which he said were only there to fund his spending habits.

He said: “I think he needs money. I rightly believe that he needs money. There is no way to maintain this lifestyle.

“Think about it, folks. He’s maintained the same lifestyle he had when he was fighting — the cars, the jewelry, rolling around with thirty people, private jets everywhere, vacations, spending millions of dollars on a watch. He’s af****** dumbass.

“You can no longer maintain this lifestyle after retirement. And I think he realized that and then had to get back in shape and started doing these shows.

“Because he can’t function without that lifestyle, that’s what he is. This is his identity.

“It’s Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather. Floyd ‘Needs Money’ Mayweather.”

Paul wants to take on Mayweather with a catch weight of between 165 and 175 pounds and claims Showtime’s Stephen Espinoza is on board.

But he urged the American icon to settle his financial dispute with brother Logan, who claimed he wasn’t paid in full after their fight.

Paul said, “If he wants to fight, why doesn’t he fight me?

“I do 175, you do 165, we have a 10lb weight difference that we can sanction.

“He didn’t care about the 35 pound difference to Logan and he says if I fight a real fighter it’s going to be bad for me.

“So he really has no excuse as to why this fight shouldn’t happen. Espinoza is on Showtime and it makes a lot of sense.

“But I will say if we fight, part of the contract will say he has to pay my brother. I got you Logan.”
