Jake Paul left “flattered” in response to KSI reluctantly backing YouTube’s arch-rival to beat Tommy Fury

JAKE PAUL was “flattered” after KSI reluctantly backed his arch-rival to beat Tommy Fury.

The celebrity boxing stars are in talks to reschedule their grudge match after it was scrapped twice.

And KSI is about to negotiate its own bitter battle with bitter nemesis Paul.

The YouTube, rap and crossover boxing sensation claimed he’ll even retire once he finally fights the American.

Paul replied, “KSI is actually telling the truth for once!

“I’m flattered that I’m your ultimate goal in boxing and you know what’s happening with Timmy.”

Fury, 23, twice pulled out of the fight against 25-year-old Paul, first last December with a rib injury and then in August amid a US visa issue.

The travel ban is still in place and his promoter Frank Warren revealed talks are underway to finalize a deal in the UK.

KSI, 29, meanwhile, returns Jan. 14 against 2-0 MMA fighter Dillon Danis, 29.

He had two comeback fights the SAME NIGHT in August, beating rapper Swarmz (26) and fellow boxer Luis Alcaraz Pineda (23).

KSI hadn’t fought since 2019, when he defeated Paul’s brother Logan, 27, in their rematch a year after the draw.

The split decision ruling has fueled the feud between KSI and Paul to work towards a planned blockbuster fight in 2023.

But KSI couldn’t help but predict Paul would beat Fury ahead of the expected rescheduled fight.

He said: “I think I hate to say it, I think Jake will win it.

“I don’t think Tommy was really tested – he’s been chin tested a couple of times and he was a little wobbly.

“And I just think Jake just put more time into training compared to Tommy.

“I think Tommy only boxes because it’s in his family.

“But I don’t think he’s as dedicated as someone like Tyson or his other brothers. So I think Jake will win this, as much as I hate to say it.”
