Jackie O’s ’embarrassing’ admission after buying a $13m mansion as she opens up about the ‘scary’ part of being a millionaire

RADIO host Jackie “O” Henderson was “embarrassed” after spending $13.25 million on her three-story oceanfront home in Sydney.
The property, located in the city’s eastern suburb of Clovelly, offers plenty of privacy and scenic views of Gordon’s Bay.
The home, which has six bedrooms and three bathrooms, offers privacy that she didn’t have in the narrow streets of her old address.
The 48-year-old bought the mansion after moving away with her $13million home in Woollahra in March.
She managed to make a $2 million profit on the property after paying $1 million above expectations for it in 2020.
The KIIS FM co-host is apparently doing well, which is the result of a very successful two decades on the radio.

But the self-made millionaire has admitted she sometimes feels “embarrassed” about being so rich.
Speaking of Stellar’s Something to talk about podcast, she said:
“Sometimes I’m embarrassed to talk about money.
“I hate showing off wealth.
“I’ve always been like this… I want a nice bag, a nice car, and a nice house, but I don’t want to flaunt it.
“But I shouldn’t be embarrassed, so I’m trying to take more responsibility for it.”
However, she admitted to feeling “proud” when she took her daughter Kitty to the on-site beach auction for the Clovelly home.
She said: “I was really proud of myself that day because I had my daughter with me and I’m now a single mom and it was nice to be able to show her that we can have financial independence.”
“I’m just saying, as women, we just have to be a little bit prouder.”
Along with her co-host Kyle Sandilands, Jackie is one of Australia’s highest paid media stars.
She reportedly signed a deal with radio station ARN in 2019, which is rumored to be worth around seven to eight million a year.
But the radio host has revealed the “spookiest” part of the self-made millionaire.
“As a man, you would definitely be entitled to it,” she said.
“And as a woman, making a lot of money single is pretty scary because a lot of guys get intimidated by it.”
“And so your instinct is to downplay it for that reason.”
Jackie is currently single, having split from her 18-year-old ex-husband, Lee Henderson, in 2018.
