Jack Wilshere is set to make his AGF debut on Friday as he trains with new teammates for the first time since a shock transfer

JACK WILSHERE will start his first stint for new club Aarhus Gymnastik first on Friday, reports say.

The former Arsenal midfielder joined the Danish side on Sunday and he will head straight into the deep in the club’s next game against Vejle BK, according to Sky Sports.

The 30-year-old has not played a game since leaving Bournemouth last summer.

But he will be fit after training with the Gunners over the past few months.

And if Mikel Arteta’s training sessions weren’t strong enough, Wilshere was starting to struggle with his new teammates.

Earlier today, England’s fallen hero was seen rubbing shoulders with members of AGF on the training ground.

And despite the language barrier, he is clearly determined to make an impression in his new squad.

Armed with a steel look etched into his face, the former Gunners icon can be seen facing off against a member of the AFG team on the training ground.

In another photo, Wilshere can be seen jogging with his group while jogging.

In the third snap, England’s fallen hero is depicted engrossed in self-expression by reaching out in conversation with another player on the team.

What is clear from the images is that Wilshere is meant to be in business in what may be the last chance he has to salvage what’s left of his tumultuous career.
