Jack Grealish meets Miguel Almiron for the first time since THAT brutal dig during Man City’s boisterous title celebrations

EDDIE HOWE warned his players not to retaliate against Jack Grealish for mocking Miguel Almiron.
Midfielder Grealish made a nasty jibe during Manchester City’s title celebration.

He said Riyad Mahrez was brought on in last season’s dramatic final day for “playing like Almiron”.
The City midfielder, whose side travel to Newcastle on Sunday, was thrashed by Almiron’s Paraguayan team-mates during their pre-season clash with Mexican club Club America.
Asked if there was a risk of his side making more of the same, Magpies boss Howe said: “We have to keep 11 players on the pitch.
“We have to play with cool heads. We must have fire in our hearts, but we must play with discipline. We must not lose that.”
On Grealish’s comments and his impact on Toon’s £20.7million attacker, Howe added: “I haven’t raised Miggy about it, I don’t think we really need to discuss it.
“I see a very happy person who is in a really good place.
“I don’t see anyone who needs extra motivation.”
Howe added: “I’ve tried all sorts of ways to motivate my players over the years.

“I would never rule out anything if I felt it was appropriate and would get extra.
“My players are motivated to play well for Newcastle and for themselves and their families, but if there was a way to do that, yes I would take it.
“I will not comment on this situation, but we are definitely highly motivated for the game.”
City are yet to concede a goal in the Premier League this season and both sides go unbeaten into the clash at St James’ Park.
