OUR amazing readers have surpassed their goal of 30,000 volunteers to join the Jabs Army.
A total of 32,870 kind Britons signed up in just three days – committing to shifts at more than 1,500 vaccination centres.
The star of boxer and serious Nicola Adams said: “It’s unbelievable to see you take on the challenge again.
“Thank you for your enthusiasm and dedication.
“We’re not out of the woods yet but at Woodhouse Medical Practice in Leeds I’ve seen how caring and kind people are.”
TV’s Vernon Kay added: “Jabs Army did it.
“Thank you everyone.”
Judge and Sun columnist Rob Rinder told readers, “As always, you’re the best of us all.”
BT, Morrisons, British Airways, Paddy Power and Sky TV all call on employees to volunteer.
Royal Volunteer Service said it was “blown away” by the response.

HOW TO JOIN
VOLUNTEERS can register online at nhsvolunteerresponders.org.uk or by scanning the QR code above with your smartphone.
You will be asked to download the GoodSAM Responder app, which will help you match a certain role.
You need to commit to only working six hour shifts per month at the jabs center. Your expenses will be covered and no experience or qualifications are required.
You will be on a team with NHS staff and volunteers. The Royal Volunteers will do a proper background check.
