NOT all grocery stores are created equal.
Tiktok user ClaudiasCucina recently posted a video explaining one of her top money-saving tips that will save you cash on every purchase.
Claudia told her viewers that drinks are one of the most overpriced items in the grocery store.
“Drop all those sodas, sodas and anything that’s pre-packaged and bottled,” the influencer said.
Instead, Claudia suggested buying powder packs of your favorite drink or Crystal Light.
Alternatively, you can swap for Aldi branded fruit punch powder and use it for yourself or your kids.
Claudia noted that this can save you “a lot of money.”
The TikToker, which has nearly 29,000 followers, said the process of making the drinks yourself is worth the money you save by avoiding expensive bottled drinks.
She urges her viewers to shout out their favorite flavor of Aldi branded powdered drinks in the comments section.
Some of her favorites were lemonade, cherry lemonade and the very fruit punch seen in the video.
Aldi has a number of drink mix packs listed on its website, including six-packs of fruit punch, peach iced tea and raspberry lemonade.
Prices vary between locations, but one Michigan store charges $1.99 for the package, or 33 cents each, according to Instacart.
Each pack is said to be enough for 10 servings, which means you can save big bucks if you’re willing to be flexible.
Other ways to save when shopping
In addition to product alternatives, Aldi has many offers for those who want to save money.
If you’re looking for the best deals at Aldi, experts say Wednesdays is the day to make your trip, as Aldi Finds’ sales section restocks on Tuesday evenings.
But it’s not just the deals on the shelves to look out for if you’re looking to save money.
You can get additional savings by using cashback and couponing apps that accept Aldi receipts.
And if you’re a frequent Aldi shopper, be sure to download the Aldi app so you don’t miss out on all the app-exclusive benefits.
