I’ve been dumpster diving and found over 200 gift cards from Starbucks, Ulta, HomeGoods and TJ Maxx

WHO knew that Dumpster Diving could give you gift certificates to spend at your favorite stores?
A woman named GlamourDDive on YouTube shared a video showing more than 200 gift cards she pulled out of the trash.

The YouTuber claimed she’s been saving the cards “for a very long time” but has no idea what to expect from them.
“I’m really hoping to find at least a few bucks to make this worthwhile,” she said.
“I think $20 is my estimate.”
When she searched the stack, there were gift cards for stores like Ulta, Bath & Body Works, Starbucks, Michael’s, TJ Maxx, and more.

First she separated all the cards into decks and then used a coin to scratch off each code on the back.
After revealing the code, she went online to enter the numbers and find out the remaining amount on each card.
She repeated this process for each of the cards she found.
Out of more than 200 cards, only four actually had money on them.
The first thing she found was for TJ Maxx with a remaining balance of $7.41.
Then she found a RaceTrac gift card with a $29.66 credit.
The vlogger was very surprised to find an unused $25 Starbucks card.
She then got lucky again with another $25 gift card for Michaels.
“I don’t know how these get thrown away,” she said.
“But I am grateful.”

After collecting gift certificates totaling about $90, she used her winnings to treat herself.
She bought home decor, a bunny stress ball, a Michael’s grab bag, gas for her car, and even Starbucks lunches.
