ITV refuses to rerun after Chelsea loanee Gallagher leaves with bloody face during FA Cup clash following a bad collision

CONOR GALLAGHER suffered a nasty head injury during Crystal Palace’s clash with Millwall in the FA Cup third round – which ITV refused to rerun.
Gallagher returned to the Eagles’ starting lineup Saturday afternoon for the trip to The Den after missing the team’s last two games.
But he realized he needed medical treatment at 11 minutes after being caught with a misplaced elbow.
An accidental left elbow by George Saville caused Gallagher to blush on his right side.
The glance drew blood from Gallagher, who was promptly examined by the Palace medical team.
Television station ITV chose not to rerun Gallagher’s injuries.
Commentator Clive Tyldesley said: “One or two of you might be having lunch so we won’t get too close.”
Tyldesley said of the collision: “No malice, he’s going to get worse in his career.”

Gallagher flattered to cheat in the first half, so much so that he was targeted by the Den crowd.
And several small areas of the stadium are aimed at homophobic abuse against Chelsea fans.
ITV issued two apologies for the vulgar language and abusive chanting.
Tyldesley first said: “We’d like to apologize if our effects microphone picked up some obscene language there a second or two ago.”
Later in the first half, he said: “Once again, we have to apologize for any bad language that was picked up.”
The Millwall Championship outfit took the lead in the 18th minute thanks to former Arsenal player Benik Afobe.
Afobe scored his sixth goal of the season after capitalizing on an unwarranted mistake from Eagles keeper Jack Butland and shooting from close range.
