“It will mean everything and shut down a lot of haters”

Kyrie Irving play his first game for brooklyn network this season against Indiana Pacers following the government office’s decision to give him a part-time role. According to Nets president Joe Tsai, his religion is winning and he believes he has the best chance of doing so with Kyrie in the ring.

Irving’s return has caused mixed reactions from experts. Some, like Shaquille O’Neal, believe the Nets don’t need him, while others like Kendrick Perkins argue it’s the right move.

Speaking on ESPN’s First Take on the eve of Kyrie Irving’s launch event, Perkins talked about what another chip would mean for Kyrie Irving’s legacy and what his return would be. What is the impact on the Nets.

He say:

“You know? It would mean everything, and it would silence a lot of haters, myself included. I’m sometimes classed as a Kyrie hater, not for the sake of those things. what he does on the court. It’s what he does outside of basketball.”

“When you think about Kyrie Irving and what he’s done for the game of basketball, we’re talking about one of the greatest handling lads of all time. One of the good finishers. I mean, he added, for him to come back and help the Brooklyn Nets win the championship, it would do anything for Kyrie’s legacy.”

“I always say this, ‘give me a part-time Kyrie than a no-time Kyrie.’ Because I know along the way you need that superstar power,” said the former NBA player.

Seriously, Perk has a point, especially with James Harden struggle at the beginning of the season. What the Nets seem to need is a reunion of their Big 3 and that could work wonders for them in the long run.

With a 22-point performance, Kyrie Irving marked her return to the NBA after a long absence due to her refusal to take the COVID-19 vaccine. Add to that three bounces, four assists, three steals, and one block.

Although it was a slow start for Kyrie, missing all three tries in the first quarter, he finished early in the second inning. The veteran keeper also had trouble hitting three pointers, as a result all of his shots came from mid-range jumpers, formations and free throws.

It was a close competition with Domantas Sabonis and Lance Stephenson leading the way for the Pacers, but Kyrie showed his worth in the second half and helped the Nets turn a 7-point shortfall after halftime.

The Nets will return to the Barclays Center to host the Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs before returning to the road. It’s been an impressive debut for Kyrie, but we won’t see him in action until the Nets head to Portland on January 10 to take on the Trail Blazers.
