It took Texas cops an HOUR to stop the Salvador Ramos massacre… we wanted to storm the school OURSELVES, angry parents say

Outraged parents claim it took Texas police officers an hour to stop the Salvador Ramos massacre when they considered storming the schools themselves.

Horrified onlookers desperately urged police to break into Robb Primary School in Uvalde when the 18-year-old gunman killed 19 children and two teachers and injured more than a dozen on Tuesday.

Ramos barricaded the classroom before unleashing a hail of bullets on the occupants – but officials said the gunman was on the premises for up to an hour before police entered and killed him, reports said CNN.

The devastated father of one of the children brutally killed in the horror attack said he considered entering the building while police held.

Jacinto Cazares, father of 10-year-old victim Jackie Cazares, rushed to the school after hearing about the shooting – but said officers had not entered the premises when he arrived, reports ABC.

He said he told other witnesses, “Let’s just rush in because the cops aren’t doing anything they’re supposed to.”

Jacinto believes “more could have been done” to save the innocent youth and their teachers.

He told the outlet: “There were at least 40 lawyers armed to the teeth but they didn’t do anything damning [until] it was far too late.”

Another bystander, who lives across the street from the school, said people asked police officers to storm the building when shots rang out.

Juan Carranza, 24, said the women at the scene shouted, “Get in there, get in there,” reports the New York Post.

He added: “There were more of them, there was only one of him.”

Dozens of local police officers, state troopers and 80 border patrol agents eventually flocked to the scene – four patrol officers entered the room and killed Ramos.

The streets were then filled with shattering screams from parents desperately searching for their children.

Parents gave cops DNA samples to identify the dead and injured at the hospital — they couldn’t tell staff their names.

At a news conference Wednesday, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott gave an update on the timeline of events as they unfolded.

Abbott said Ramos shot and killed his grandmother before getting into a pickup truck registered in her name.

He then crashed the car less than a mile away in front of the elementary school.

Ramos reportedly got out of the car with a rifle, Sergeant Erick Estrada of the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) said on CNN.

Officers from the Uvalde School District approached Ramos and engaged in gunfire, Abbott said.

Ramos then entered the elementary school through a back door, walked down two hallways and entered a classroom on the left.

Meanwhile, chilling final messages from Ramos reveal his intent to shoot both his grandmother and the elementary school.

Ramos shared his plans with a 15-year-old girl in Germany, whom he met on the Yubo livestream platform in the days and hours leading up to filming.

It comes as haunting photos from an account said to belong to Ramos reveal the teen’s wanted fame, much like the docuseries Don’t F*** With Cats.
