ENGLAND U19 won the European Championship after a thrilling 3-1 overtime win over Israel.

Aston Villa duo Carney Chukwuemeka and Aaron Ramsey scored in the second half of added time in the famous win.

Oscar Gloch put the Israelis ahead just before half-time, Man City defender Callum Doyle equalizing in the 52nd minute.

The Young Lions pushed for a late winner but were unable to break through their opponents’ strong defenses.

It went into overtime and after a restrained first 15 minutes, skipper Harvey Vale produced that certain something of magic that England so needed.

The Chelsea prodigy, who made five first-team appearances for the Blues last season, delivered a perfect left-footed cross that defeated all Israeli defenders.

Huge midfielder Chukwuemeka pooled the ball home to send England swarming.

The win was sealed late when Man City striker Liam Delap, the son of long-range legend Rory, saved a late shot from goalkeeper Tomer Tzarfati.

The ball fell friendly to Ramsey, who slammed into an empty net.
