But it’s not just a new era for Forest as Newcastle begin their first full season under new ownership today in the 22/23 campaign.

Steve Cooper’s Forest side made it through to the play-offs last season, beating Huddersfield Town 1-0 in the final at Wembley.

Forest have made 12, yes 12 signings this season, including Jesse Lingard and Neco Williams, both of whom could play today.

Newcastle have also strengthened as there could be debuts for Sven Botman, Nick Pope and Matt Targett today.
