Aside from his starring roles in film and television, Kevin revealed how his diet routine led him to open his own restaurants.

While stopping by The Joe Rogan Experience, Kevin Hart shared his meal and diet plans with the host.

He told Rogan, “I don’t want people to think I don’t eat, I’m not a foodie, but I’m not on a strict, crazy diet.”

“I don’t eat red meat, fish, or seafood. I eat plant-based food. I eat chicken now and then.”

The Fatherhood star said, “Just because you make the decision to try plant-based doesn’t mean you have to be immersed in that world.”

“Learn it, understand it, and see if there are benefits that work for you.”

“I stopped eating so much red meat because I learned I don’t have to have it.”

Kevin added, “When I found out that there were proteins and other things in other foods and other resources, I started learning more about the plant-based food realm.”

“Since going plant-based and jumping into this space and making the decision to do so, I’ve seen a significant shift in being more alive and active.”

Does Kevin Hart have his own restaurant?

On June 16, 2022, Kevin Hart announced his plans to open his own vegan-style restaurants.

The Jumanji actor, who goes by the name Hart House, said in a statement, “I founded Hart House to create a good experience that combines the joy of coming together over food with the power of purpose.”

“Our amazing chefs and team members have created a 100% plant-based menu that delivers incredible flavor in every bite. I know you will love it.”

The comedian continued on Instagram, “I’m excited to announce that I’ve worked with an all-star team of partners and industry leaders to create an industry-changing restaurant called ‘Hart House.'”

“This thing is going to be HUGE! We will be opening our first few locations in the LA area, but we will be expanding quickly. Stay tuned for more!!”
