Is Carmen Really Pregnant In Season 5 Of Cobra Kai?

Cobra Kai Season 5 is officially out and we now have so many answers to our questions from this explosive season 4 finale. But of course, with another cliffhanger, there’s even more wonder to come, which has us nervous for a potential sixth season. But let’s not anticipate! There is so much to talk about in Season 5.

Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) is as powerful and evil as ever after Cobra Kai was victorious in Season 4’s All Valley Tournament, with plans to take over multi-dojo Los Angeles. And he won’t stop there.

Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) has enlisted the help of Chozen Toguchi (Yuji Okumoto), who comes to LA to help fight Silver. While Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) still wants Silver taken down, this time he has other priorities. He wants to provide for his family, most importantly knowing that he and his son Robby (Tanner Buchanan) get along well.

Spoilers ahead for Cobra Kai season 5

As we see in the Cobra Kai Season 5 trailer, Johnny even gets a job as a driver for an Uber-like app, which isn’t exactly doing too well. But why is Johnny such a changed man in the new season? Well, there’s a big reason we haven’t mentioned yet. His girlfriend Carmen (Vanessa Rubio), aka Miguel’s (Xolo Maridueña) mother, thinks she might be pregnant.

In Episode 3, Miguel is back home in Los Angeles after going to Mexico to find his real father and we see the family having breakfast together – Miguel, Carmen, Grandma Rosa (Rose Bianco) and Johnny. Around this time, Carmen confidentially tells Johnny that she is going to be late and thinks she is pregnant.

This is a huge bombshell for Johnny to learn because while he’s excited about the opportunity, he’s also scared. Can he really raise another child? Growing up he wasn’t a great father to Robby.

Will Carmen and Johnny Have a Baby in Cobra Kai Season 5?

Later in the episode it is revealed that Carmen is indeed pregnant! She takes a pregnancy test without Johnny and then goes to his house to tell him the good news. She is surprised to see that Johnny has already completely remodeled his apartment to make it baby proof and is doing research on how to raise a child. He may be nervous, but he’s definitely committed!

Carmen does not give birth in Cobra Kai Season 5 but she is pregnant. We’re sure if Cobra Kai Season 6 happens, we will see the birth of her child. How exciting!

Johnny accidentally spills the beans he and Carmen are expecting on Miguel and Robby and they get really excited. I’m so glad Johnny has Carmen in his life because she really makes him a better person!
