Bel-Airdramatic reboot of the ’90s sitcom Fresh Prince of Bel-Airpremieres Sunday, February 13. The ten-episode series reimagines OG’s comedic storyline and expands the story to include real danger and threat surrounding the circumstances of why Will’s move from West Philadelphia to Bel-Air, Los Angeles.

In the comics, Will is a basketball player with a shot while playing in college. But, just like in the OG theme song, he gets caught up in a fight over a neighborhood court that changes his life forever. Instead of playing out the season with his team, he moved to his aunt and uncle’s homes around the country so he could lounge around.

It was a situation fueled by drama, but Bel-Air He is very skillful in balancing the precarious situation Will is in with his playful personality and desire to shine no matter where he lives. The series is a coming-of-age drama that also balances a plot that includes the Banks’ political aspirations and the communities they’re apart from.

Is Bel-Air on Netflix?

Unfortunately, Bel-Air Not Netflix Original. The series will stream exclusively on Peacock. The first three episodes will premiere on Sunday, February 13. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly on Thursdays until the series finishes 10 episodes of the first season.

You’ll need a Peacock subscription to watch the full series. Premium plan is $4.99/month. To stream on the ad-free platform, you will need a plan plus a premium of $9.99/month. The OG series is not available on Peacock; it is currently streaming on HBO Max.
