Is Anna Sorokin a friend of Martin Shkreli and Billy McFarland?

Page Six of the New York Post reported in 2018 that Anna is said to live in SoHo’s headquarters Billy’s credit card company Magnises in 2013.

She appeared to have squatted at a townhouse where Billy’s company held regular parties without paying rent for four months.

“Anna knows the people on Billy’s team,” an insider told the outlet. “She only asked to stay for a few days… then she wouldn’t leave.”

For Martina former Vanity Fair editor who befriends Anna says that she knows the former hedge fund manager and even cheated on him.

Author Rachel DeLoache Williams said that during a trip to Morocco, Anna was upset when the hotel manager asked her to pay in advance.

“As a retribution, she recorded the names of the general managers. After paying, she confirmed, she purchased the respective Internet domains. Then she sent them e-mails to let them know what she did,” Williams wrote. “I would resell them for a million dollars each,” she told me. This is a trick she learned from Martin Shkreli, whom she admires, and even claims to have met once or twice.

According to a former employee at the SoHo 11 hotel, Neffatari Davis said that Sorokin introduced Shkreli as a “close friend” to her, which was noted in the 2018 New York Magazine article “The Anna Way” Delvey tricked the partygoers in New York.”

This article inspired many scenes from the Netflix series Inventing Anna, which shows that during a dinner two con artists meet.

That same evening, Davis announced that Shkreli had revealed to her and Anna leaked tracks from a Lil Wayne album he had purchased. This was referenced in Inventing Anna.

Where is Billy McFarland now?

Billy McFarland is now behind bars, but no stranger to it.

In 2018 he was sentenced to six years in prison in 2018 after pleading guilty to fraud in connection with the now infamous incident. Fyre Festival.

The festival is hyped as a luxury music festival in the Bahamas, but unfortunately for those who have spent thousands of dollars on tickets, it is far from the given definition.

Attendees come to the festival looking for FEMA tents and frugal meals instead of luxury accommodations.

McFarland admitted to lying about Fyre Festival to more than 80 investors, costing them about $26 million.

He is expected to be released from prison in 2023.
