INTER MAILAND are planning a move for Fulham’s speedy US left-back Antonee Robinson.
The Italian giants are on the hunt for a new full-back and Robinson is under scrutiny ahead of a potential offer in the window.
Robinson nearly joined Inter’s rivals AC Milan two years ago before a problem emerged in his medical treatment that was later found to be false.
And while Milan have since gone elsewhere, Inter boss Simone Inzaghi is looking for improvement in that area and Robinson is the one for you.
Inter’s left-back is Federico Dimarco, 25, but they want competition for him and Robinson, who started his career at Everton, stands out.
The American Flying Machine was ranked as the fastest player in the first round of games, and his attacking ability and speed to recover make him an attractive option.
Robinson, 25, has done well for Fulham in the Premier League and is now also a regular for the Americas national team.
He could be ready to go to Italy on the second try.
Fulham would want £15m-20m for their star, who was signed from Wigan when they were in administration and is now established as their first choice.
Manchester City and Wolves have both pursued Robinson in the past but only wanted him as cover and would not pay the asking price.
HOW TO GET FREE BETS ON THE WORLD CUP
Robinson started both of USA’s Group B World Cup games.
The matches against Wales and England ended in a draw, the knockout qualification went to the last game.
