MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Inter Miami CF selected four players in Tuesday’s Major League Soccer SuperDraft tournament.
In the first round, with a 9th overall pick, the club drafted defender Ryan Sailor from the University of Washington.
The 24-year-old midfielder has played a total of 49 times for Washington, scoring 10 goals and providing 3 assists.
Inter Miami used the 37th overall pick to select Lucas Meek, another University of Washington production.
Meek, 23, scored 16 goals and provided 13 assists for the Huskies in 48 appearances, including 33.
Eleven options later, the club took in quarterback Justin Ingram of Loyola University Maryland.
The 24-year-old central midfielder has scored seven goals and added 10 assists while leading the Greyhounds to the 2021 Patriot League and regular-season championship.
Inter Miami made its 54th use of attacking midfielder Tyler Bagley from Cornell University.

In 65 appearances, 48 appearances, the 22-year-old scored 17 goals and added 16 assists.
